In September we had a Cool To Care Assembly at VVMS. The Cool To Care foundation came and taught our VVMS students important lessons that day. Our peer leadership class helped plan and participate in this assembly as well. After the assembly, the Cool To Care foundation did a student drawing. The winner of that drawing was WelLee Williams.
On Friday's at VVMS we award our Cool To Care and Perfect Attendance winners. This week our Cool To Care winners are Myla Burraston and Sophie Greenwood. Our Perfect Attendance winners for this week are Nora Spencer and Penny Porter. Congratulations!

Our librarian, Mrs. Mower, had a bookmark contest. The students were able to vote for their favorite bookmarks. Here are the winners. Congratulations!

Look at what some VVMS students have been up to lately. Mrs. Perkins students are learning not to "UPSTAGE" others as they perform. They are learning to "CHEAT OUT" (face the audience) ! They are also learning the different stage directions, positions and levels that make their theatrical scenes beautiful and believable. Mr. Wright's students have been presenting on career options.

Support the PTO by purchasing swag!!! Spirit Friday begins the first Friday of October and you'll want to have a shirt to wear! Follow the link below to access the order form and purchase a shirt or hat. The proceeds from all sales go directly to the PTO and will help to cover the costs of meals for teachers during SEP, Teacher Appreciation Week, Spirit Fridays, Support for our students and school culture. Remember, if families had a free or reduced eligibility last school year, they still need to apply. The eligibility does not carry over from year to year.
