On Friday, September 26th our Valley View Middle School Band and Percussion students joined the Salem Jr High and Salem Hills High Band Students for the annual Salem Band Bash at the SHHS homecoming football game. Over 300 band students from our 3 Salem band programs joined forces to provide the crowd with entertaining short songs throughout the night and help cheer on the football team. Congrats to the 190 VVMS band students on their band bash performance!

This Thursday, September 25, VVMS will be serving fresh Harward Farms corn on the cob in our school lunches! You're not going to want to miss it!

We have an incredibly rare opportunity to participate in the 9/11 Remembrance Event being held at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds. This is not just for students, it is for all our families. Please take some time today , Thursday, September 11th through Saturday, September 13th from 9 am to 9 pm to attend this wonderful event. We are so grateful to the Major Brent Taylor Foundation for putting on this event and helping us to "REMEMBER".

Tomorrow is the last day of the school year. Thank you for your support throughout the year. Valley View is a special place and it's full of great people. If your student comes to school tomorrow, please remind them that backpacks are not allowed. Students are only allowed to bring their yearbook and a pen or pencil with them. Kids Cause is excited to invite you to our Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, June 2! This event will support students in Nebo School District by helping provide glasses, dental work, clothing, and other essentials. Kids Cause works closely with school social workers and administrators to identify students who need extra help, making a real difference in our community. The tournament promises a fun day for a great cause — just $60 per person! Bring your own foursome if possible! Lunch will be provided, and there will be lots of prizes to win throughout the day. Come enjoy a round of golf and help us continue supporting kids in need! We hope to see you there!

This last weekend we had 13 of our Valley View Middle School Band students participate in the Nebo District Middle school honor band. The band was comprised of students from each middle school in the district who auditioned to participate. Huge congrats to our Raptor Band students who were part of the honor band this year! VVMS band did great and earned a superior rating, the highest rating on the score rubric at the band festival this week. The judge noted they had excellent tone and rhythmic accuracy throughout their performance and overall were well prepared! Great job raptors! #vvmsraptors #neboschooldistrict
